Dream4k IPTV M3U and Xtream login: what's the difference?

How playlist links and server/username/password logins work, and how to fix the usual connection errors.
Two ways to log in
Some players ask for one full playlist link (M3U). Others ask for three separate details: server address, username and password (often called Xtream login). Both point to the same account — the player decides which format it wants.
Turning a link into login details
Our M3U converter page reads a playlist link and shows the server, username and password inside it, then checks whether the account answers. Use it when your player only accepts the three-field login.
Common errors
A link cut in half when copying, a typo in the password, or a server address missing the port are the most frequent causes. Copy the details again from your order message rather than typing them.
Keep your link private
Your playlist link contains your password. Don't post it in public groups or screenshots. If you need help, send it to support privately.
Safe troubleshooting steps
- Copy the details again from your order message.
- Check the link isn't cut off.
- Try the M3U converter to read the login details.
- Change one setting at a time.
- Never share your link publicly.
